Several years after the death of my son and my marriage, I
started my healing journey. I met with therapists who used
traditional therapy supplemented with anti-depressants. This
didn’t
work for me. We were not able to find the doorway that would
allow my healing to start. I wanted to be alive, but I only
existed.
I heard about Counseling Associates of Bemidji and I contacted
the director, Steve Bergstrom. He offered therapy that was
unique and different from all the other therapies I had tried.
Working with Steve, I found the tools to heal my whole person.
The work was “radical” – it went down to
the roots -- painful and refreshing all in the same breath.
With the passing of Mr. Bergstrom, I wondered who would be
able to take his place in our community. I knew there were
many people in need of therapists who weren’t afraid to address the
underlying issues -- therapists who would really “get it” and
provide the opportunity for healing and inner peace that I got
from being in treatment with Mr. Bergstrom. It was then that
I met Carol & Al Cirocco at Four Winds Center for Wellness,
Inc., and I had my answer.
As part of the local educational community, I refer many students
and their families to Al & Carol Cirocco and I have witnessed
the positive results of their work. They are truly an answered
prayer for those who need freedom from the chains of the
past!
